Looking forward to the next round already? Here's a look at the weekend ahead.

Three bucqui Jubilee Cup matches in town in the afternoon, and one at Westpac Stadium in the evening makes the fourth round of the competition this Saturday a must follow for rugby fans.

Unbeaten Oriental-Rongotai could become the first team to qualify for this year’s semi-finals if they can beat a desperate Upper Hutt Rams at home at the Polo Ground.

Poneke will be eager to defeat Marist St Pat’s at Kilbirnie Park in a match that could decide the fortunes of both teams’ chances. MSP are coming off a big win over OBU, while Poneke were run down by the Wellington Axemen in round three.

The OBU Goats have fallen outside the top four for the first time all season, and will be looking to get back on track in their game at the Basin Reserve against Wellington.

The fourth match is at Westpac Stadium in the curtain-raiser to the Hurricanes match, where Wainuiomata can consolidate second place against winless Tawa who must win or their playoff chances will be gone.

The feature match of the Hardham Cup is between the two unbeaten teams, Northern United and Hutt Old Boys Marist, at Jerry Collins Stadium.

Both are on maximum points, Norths sweeping aside Johnsonville last Saturday and HOBM pulling clear of Petone. The winner of this clash will likely be the first team to qualify for the semi-finals.

Winless Avalon will need to beat third placed Petone, while Paremata-Plimmerton and Johnsonville earn vital points in their away matches against OBU B and MSP B respectively.

The four Victoria Tavern Trophy Women’s semi-finalists have been found, but the order of qualifying will be determined in fifth and final round-robin matches this Friday night.

Wainuiomata can qualify top if they draw or beat Norths, while Ories will cement a home playoff fixture if they defeat Avalon.

Hutt Old Boys Marist can secure top spot if they beat the Upper Hutt Rams, while MSP play Johnsonville-Tawa.

St Pat’s Town’s home clash against Rongotai College is the feature clash of this Saturday’s penultimate round-robin of the WelTec Premiership.

With the exception of the Wairarapa College-Bishop Viard College match next Wednesday, this is the last set of matches in the grade until post school holidays end of July. Top placed Wellington College will be gunning for their sixth straight win on Saturday when they host Bishop Viard College.

There's also college rugby this coming Wednesday. A full round of girls matches takes place, while the Wainuiomata and Hutt Valley High School 1st XV’s meet at the Hutt Rec at 6.00pm in the Coed Cup final with the winner also progressing to the Hurricanes regional qualifiers for the National Coed Top 4. Elsewhere Tawa College mounts the last challenge for the Beard Trophy when they take on holders Bishop Viard at the JCS at 5.30pm.
