Tawa: Stephen Sasagi
Stephen Sasagi played for Otago Boys High School 1st XV in 2002 as a lock. Played club for Alhambra Union in 2004 to 2007 and in the same year played for Samoa U21 in Argentina. Played for North Otago in a successful season winning the Meads Cup in 2007 on the wing. In 2008 signed for Tasman Markos? scoring his first NPC try against Taranaki on the wing. Stephen Sasagi's parents shifted to Wellington from Dunedin where he plays his rugby today for Tawa.
