Both Centurions Rugby Football Club representative teams are in action tomorrow, in Wellington and in Taupo.

The U85kg team takes on Waikato for the Gallon Cup trophy at Owen Delany Park, kick-off 2pm.

These two sides played at the same venue last year With Wellington winning 27-10,after leading 27-7 at halftime, so Waikato will be fired up to reverse that result this time around.

The Centurions team have been training hard up at Boyd Wilson field for the last three weeks with ex-Hurricanes and Cardiff Blues fitness trainer Paul Downes doing some outstanding work with the players. The attitude of the players has been really good (with nine players returning from the Waikato game last year) and a good comradery is building within the squad. Captain Cam Prestige will lead a talented side and the guys are looking forward to their first game before playing North Harbour and Auckland later in the month.

The Centurions Development team has already played two matches in the RDO Cup series, also involving Wellington Maori Development, Horowhenua-Kapiti B, Wairarapa-Bush B and Wanganui B.

So far they have beaten the Maori team 24-5 and the Horowhenua-Kapiti team 19-5.
