HOBM centre Parataiso Silafai-Leaanaa diving in for a try against Old Boys University in 2012.
Silafai-Leaanaa, who made his Premier debut for HOBM at the start of 2011, played every match either at centre or on the wing for HOBM in 2012. His pace and flair out wide was a massive contributing factor to the Eagles winning the 2012 Swindale Shield.?
After playing for the Hurricanes Development XV earlier in the year, Silafai-Leaanaa made his Ricoh Wellington Lions ITM Cup debut off the bench in October 2012 against Otago.
Taiso is a former Petone junior player who played in the St Pat's First XV alongside several other up and coming Hutt Valley players such as Ope Peleseuma, Tomasi Alosio and Greg Lealofi.?
He was named in the NZ Marist team set to play the NZ Heartland XV in November 2012.
