Wainuiomata: Corey Draper
?
Wainuiomata halfback Corey Draper.
Like many of his teammates, Draper's joining the club was a natural progression after spending three seasons in the Wainuiomata College First XV and earlier spending a season in the junior ranks at hooker.
He played for the Wainui U19s in his first season out of school in 2005 and made the then Senior 1 side for the first time at the very end of that season, scoring a try on debut from first five-eighth against Paremata -Plimmerton.
Has been involved with the Wainuiomata squad from 2006 to present, helping them rise through the ranks from a Senior 1 club to a current leading Premier one.
?
Draper also made the Wellington Colts two years running in 2006 and 2007.
