17 July 2013: Cam Incledon is set to become the second Petone player in a week, after lock Chris Molenaar, to reach the milestone of 200 Premier appearances for his club when he takes the field at Evans Park this Saturday against MSP.

33 year old Incledon says it is the love of the game and the enjoyment he gets from playing in the Petone jersey that has kept him going. Cam began with Hutt Old Boys Marist in 1998 before crossing the bridge to Petone in 2002 with his brother Shane, looking for a higher level of rugby to play at the time.

The Petone team of that year was very different from this year. The likes of Alex Telea, Dan Farrani, Tana Umaga, Jaysin Fale Jason O’Halloran.Ross Filipo are long gone or retired.

Three players left from that side are fellow double Centurions Bushy Molenaar and prop Thomas Tuipavao along with Eugene Smith who is close to 150 matches.

Incledon started out at halfback and played Wellington Bs and Sevens but never made it to the big time.

A move to the midfield a few seasons back has extended his career and his solid defence and good ball distribution skills have been a bonus to the Villagers.

Winning the Jubilee Cup in 2005 was a special moment and something he would have liked to have done a lot more with Petone.?
