Halfback Nick Risdon has been playing for Hutt Old Boys-Marist since 2003. Nick has always been a Hutt boy, having gone to school at St Bernard's College. One of his most treasured rugby memories happened at college, when he was part of the St Bernard's team that won the Wellington Secondary School Premier competition in 2001.

Nick joined Hutt Old-Boys Marist straight from school and has been with the club ever since. Not surprisingly he nominated Hutt Rec as his favourite ground to play on. His proudest moment as a HOBM player came in 2004, when they managed to defeat Petone to win the McBain Shield.
